Was Roberto Duran Past his Best when he fought Thomas Hearns?

Was he past his prime or not?

Just vote Yes or No, there are some idiots who are argueing he was in his prime when he lost to Hearns. i'm not saying he would have won or lost or anything, just for the sake of the arguement, was he in his Prime or Not?

Duran was past his best but he was still a hell of a fighter and it's impossible to think he was knocked out like that. If you watch his fights against Leonard, Hagler and Barkley (all when Duran was past his best) you'll realize why Hearns' performance in that fight was so good. Hearns knocked Duran OUT COLD.

parody, you the answer to this. His defeat to Laing signaled he was on the decline. That was a few years before the Hearns fight.

Clearly, he was at his best as a lightweight, why all the ****** questions. Next will be, "Did Tyson really mean to bite off Holyfield's ear or was it an accident???"

Duran was past it way before he fought Hearns.

Lets face it prime or not that fight showed that Duran has NO CHANCE against Hearns. Hearns' style and size would always give Duran and every other small fighter fighting at higher weights huge trouble.

If you don't have the power to hurt Hearns you're innnnnnnnnnnnnnnn trrrrrrrrrrrroubllllllllllllle.

No, he was not in his prime but given the dimensions of the fight, it didn't matter.

He was past it but Hearns was a HORRIBLE style matchup for him even dring his best days.
