I get so ****ing sick and tired about people who say Trinidad wont carry his power to 170, why is it SO shocking to say Trinidad hits as hard or harder than Glen? he was killing himself to make Welterweight, he got 2 KO's and a decision at 154 and at 160 the only 2 guys he didn't KO were the ones who beat him, all he ever has been doing IS getting stronger as he goes up, his KO ratio is WAY better than Glen Johnson who was ALSO a Middleweight and Tarver too so where do people get off saying he ain't going to have the same power at 170?

1st off it ain't about Trinidad's power, we all know what Tito can do, it's about Jones Jr's chin and how he's going to adapt to those punches that Joppy said must have had plaster underneath the glove, Tito has a shaky defense and tends to go down not because of a weak chin but bad leg positioning and maybe if Roy can pop shot around all night with that right hand and force Tito straight back he will have an easy time but I just think about the Trinidad who lets his hands go and doesn't do what he did in the De La Hoya fight and the 2 losses and just follows the mouse in circles all night..

if Tito lets his hands go and uses that jab then it's good bye Roy, when Trinidad corners him and lets loose he will hit Jones in ways that I'll be honest I don't think he can endure, even if it goes the distance I think a fight against an AGGRESSIVE Tito will be too much for Roy to uphold, it was Hanshaw and Roy's mouth was open for air towards the end at times so imagine someone like Trinidad who is not only an excellent finisher but a devastating body puncher, he wont be able to fend off the way he did against Hanshaw to Tito.. I got mines on Tito regardless of how.

That is why it says 'So how has his training been going'? It's because the interviewer is talking to the translator.

          Let's See.....

If Roy is on his game, this fight should play out like the Tito/Winky fight. All night Tito grew increasingly frustrated as the more talented fighter kept beating him to the punch and throwing him a boxing lesson. I can see Roy doing the same thing to Tito...Roy nowadays keeps it safe and I don't feel Tito will be able to catch him with his left hook. Roy by UD!

How will Tito embarrass Roy when he cannot even win against Winky and Hopkins? He was even clearly beaten by delahoya but the judges perhaps saw another bout. I was a fan of Tito but i believe Oscar won that fight.

I hate to break it to you, modern day Jones is NOT as good as modern day Wright and Hopkins are. I don't even know how you could make an argument that he is.

And Tito fought Winky and Hopkins when they were younger. He fought winky 2+ years ago...which doesn't mean much, but he fought Hopkins 6+ years ago, arguably during b-hops prime.

For the record, I'm no fan of Tito but I think JR is in for more than he imagines

Roy doesn't have Winky's jab or defense.
                  Roy's shot.
                  Tito KO's da bum.

roy really is far from shot... his losses were 3 years ago... u can tell hes worked very hard to restore himself... not a prime jones... but not a tarver/johnson jones either...
