I get so ****ing sick and tired about people who say Trinidad wont carry his power to 170, why is it SO shocking to say Trinidad hits as hard or harder than Glen? he was killing himself to make Welterweight, he got 2 KO's and a decision at 154 and at 160 the only 2 guys he didn't KO were the ones who beat him, all he ever has been doing IS getting stronger as he goes up, his KO ratio is WAY better than Glen Johnson who was ALSO a Middleweight and Tarver too so where do people get off saying he ain't going to have the same power at 170?
1st off it ain't about Trinidad's power, we all know what Tito can do, it's about Jones Jr's chin and how he's going to adapt to those punches that Joppy said must have had plaster underneath the glove, Tito has a shaky defense and tends to go down not because of a weak chin but bad leg positioning and maybe if Roy can pop shot around all night with that right hand and force Tito straight back he will have an easy time but I just think about the Trinidad who lets his hands go and doesn't do what he did in the De La Hoya fight and the 2 losses and just follows the mouse in circles all night..
if Tito lets his hands go and uses that jab then it's good bye Roy, when Trinidad corners him and lets loose he will hit Jones in ways that I'll be honest I don't think he can endure, even if it goes the distance I think a fight against an AGGRESSIVE Tito will be too much for Roy to uphold, it was Hanshaw and Roy's mouth was open for air towards the end at times so imagine someone like Trinidad who is not only an excellent finisher but a devastating body puncher, he wont be able to fend off the way he did against Hanshaw to Tito.. I got mines on Tito regardless of how.
