      Sad but true.
No it wouldn't. It would in the eyes of the Fat Yanks because as far as they're concerned the world starts in New York and ends in California, but actually his greatest achievement is and would still be beating Kessler.

Yeah I agree. Undisputed heavyweight champion, wins over Holyfield, Tyson, Bruno, Klitscko, Rahman, Briggs, Tucker, Ruddock etc etc, defeated every man he ever stepped through the ropes with, one of the most dominant heavyweights of all time.

Here's a discussion with some boxing 'experts' about who are the best British boxers of all time. This was before Lewis and Calzaghe (Lewis was a HW champion at the time but not undisputed, Calzaghe was green).

The experts include Harry Mullan, Glenn McCrory and everyones favorite Frank Warren.

Their picks for the greatest British boxers were Ted 'Kid' Lewis, Ken Buchanan and Jimmy Wilde. They all eventually agreed that Ted Lewis was the greatest.

The man in my avi shouldn't be discounted, he would be in my top 5 but not number 1 though. For me it is lennox Lewis.

Joe is definitely the best of the past quarter century.

Jimmy Wilde and Joe are the two best of all time.
