This is a good call. Jack 'Kid' Berg was one of the first names that sprang to my mind. . . . Lennox would take it if judged on achievement.

Robert "Bob" Fitzsimons is traditional accepted as the most prolific boxer from England. He's also considered world wide as a top tier boxer and competitor!
Kid Lewis is certainly right up there with Bob. He had an incredible record and seemed to be fighting "every week"!
...and I agree the Wilde should be in there too!! The guy could fight. Ray.

For me it has to be Lewis. Calzaghe was brilliant dont get me wrong but his level of opposition was nothing in comparison to Lewis. Lewis beat everyone he fought and always looked to fight the best avaliable opponents

If Fitszimmons and McLarnin count then it's those 2 by a wide margin.

                    McLarnin was a Canadian.

He was born in the UK though so it depends how you view it.

Like I said "If he counts it's him" or Fitzsimmons. But both were only born in the UK and moved shortly after so, a lot don't seem to consider them brits.
