Calzaghe or Lewis, I'll give it to Calzaghe if he wins his next two fights though. Both of them are the only boxers ever to win Sports personality for the year for Britain and they are quite close in achievements.

Benn was good but not great & Benn won the 2nd fight IMO aswell ,apart from that he beat Watson who was outclassed big time by Mike McCallum & made to look a level below world class albeit he was a Brave man was Michael Watson

There are a few fighters I considered from further back in time, the problem is how could we give a accurate assessment of them?

As for Jimmy Wilde, his record was fantastic but those days their was no real seeding or placing, what I mean is a guy who had 70 wins under his belt could fight someone who had 10 wins. A good example is Joe Conn who fought Jimmy Wilde in his 4th fight when Wilde had fought 120+ times, Wilde knocked Conn down 13 times!!!

Either the British Lennox Lewis or Jimmy Wilde, Wilde has one of the best records ever.

What about Barry Mcguigan and Henery Cooper.

                    They won it.
