Ruiz Was A Bum, And I Ain't Forgot How Jones Was Knockout Cold To Johnson. Dropped His Ass Where He Lay, Never Even Thinking Of Getting Up, Cause He Could'nt Think, He Was Knocked Out.

Ruiz won against Valuev,Golota,Rahman,Holyfield and had a close fight with Chagaev. His fights were mostly ugly and booring, but he still was a top 5-10 heavy all the time.
Btw at Bob Fitzsimmons time, heavyweights weren't that huge and he wasn't as succesful, Roy's accomplishment is still unbeaten

Ruiz is good but he is a heavyweight who uses his boxing skill and his rather 'unique' style to beat his opponents. He isn't a very powerful or a very big heavyweight.

Against Jones he couldn't use his clinching style because of Jay Nady who is a very strict referee and Jones was obviously more skilled and faster than Ruiz. Ruiz had to play Jones' game and got outboxed.

Lennox Lewis was the legit heavyweight champion and would've murdered Jones. I don't regard RJJ as a middleweight champion who went up to become a heavyweight champion, just a middleweight champion who went on to beat a top heavyweight.

I Know Who He Fought Against, Imo He Looks Like **** In The Ring, And Always Has. I Hav'nt Seen A Good Performance From Him Ever. I'm Not Gonna Go Into The Resons Why He Won Against Holyfeild, Rahman, And A Few Others, The Resons Are Obvious. Roy Looked Like **** When He Fought Ruiz Too. I Remember Watching That Fight And Was Pissed At The Lack Of Action, Both Fighters Looked Like Bums.

In my opinion Toney's heavyweight run was much more impressive. He fought huge punchers like Peter and Rahman. Toney also whipped Ruiz but used steroids to do it (obviously didn't help because he was still a fat slob).

Lennox Lewis was active and the Recognised TRUE HW world champion at the time of Roy Vs Ruiz.
So Roy did not win the Heavyweight crown...just a paper belt.
It was a good achievement but not equal to Fitzimmons who beat the real HW champ.
Anyone who thinks Roy was the Heavyweight World Champion needs their head testing.
