agreed, JT is still a great fighter and may still win the rematch, all great fighters have lost in their careers, not to take anything at all away from Pavliks big win but sometimes **** just happens, even if he loses again so what, he's still good and will go on to another title regardless.

Maybe Pavlik will just be that one fighter that JT will not be able to beat - many greats had them

    Duran -Leonard
    Mosley - Wright
    Jones - Tarver
    Tyson - Holyfield
    DLH - Mosley
    Hopkins - TAylor

But there are a number of things that have been hard for people to swallow.

Edit: by this I mean it showed a limitation in both a hype machine and a lineage

JT go KOd. You must want to see him get hurt if you think that was his best performance.

Edit: so you basically feel that Pavlik beat a hype machine & the linear title means nothing.

I beg to differ. Rocky Marciano & Floyd Mayweather are both great fighters & neither have ever lost.

Or they turned on him and said he was a paper champ. I was actually more impressed with Jermaine than I had been his whole career in the Pavlik fight. His fights with Spinks and Ouma were terrible, I actually thought Spinks won not to mention that Winky beat JT.
IMO, TAYLOR LOST A LOT OF RESPECT IN THE WAY HE FOUGHT THE LAST COUPLE OF HIS FIGHTS. THAT'S WHY HIS FANS WERE RUNNING FROM HIM, LIKE WHEN A SHIP SINKS ALL THE **** RUN TO THE HIGHEST POINT OF THE SHIP BEFORE IT GOES DOWN.

True, but as i said in the post many, not all great fighters, there are some exceptions as you have pointed out, sometimes losing makes a fighter better

I agree.......I also agree Winky beat him.......I can't say Spinks won with a straight face though....but he did fair much better than he should have.
