Boxngroyalty.com was informed by Sampson Lewkowicz, agent for Michael Katsidis (23-0, 20KOs), that a lawsuit will be filed in California by Katsidis and his manager Brendon Smith, against Taco Bell, citing the resturaunt chain with tortuous interference with the career of Katsidis, and allegations of improperly cooked food.
Katsidis, along with Smith, purchased a 1/2 LB. BEEF COMBO BURRITO from Taco Bell, one of America's leading fast food retailers specializing in Mexican "cuisine", in an effort to satisfy Katsidis's craving for "quick snack" after a grueling and brutal training session.
What resulted was Katsidis and Smith being incapacitated and almost confined to bathrooms the following months. "I was just tired and hungry so me and my mate decided to get something fast and filling. The only thing that was 'fast' about what I ate was how it came out. It just kept going and going, mate. I've stuffed my trousers with toilet paper because I'm traumatized," said an ovbiously shaken Michael Katsidis.
"We signed the debit receipt for the meals on June 2 at Taco Bell. They took payment in an agreement to act in good faith and make proper Mexican cuisine. They did not act in good faith and was not fair to my kid. They halted my kid's career for months because he they cannot prepare proper food. They made Katsidis lose months of his career and they arent even promoters or competing fighters. My kid lost at least $300,000 and probably (future) millions if the food would have been proper. Look at his bum! Look at it!! There isnt enough baby powder in the world to sooth that!!" Lewkowicz said.
Boxingroyalty attempted to contact Taco Bell for comment, but was faxed this statement.
"We're freakin' Taco Bell. What did he expect to happen?"
