jajajjajaj thats funny all the puertoricanas boxers do that and you only get two names out of like more than 30 champions that PR has in his resume jajajjaj. You are trying to degrade the good standing of PR boxers has in this sport with comments like that. But you have to do something because theres is a lot of great prospects in PR that are coming up and if you dont like it you have to do something to be happy or just hang up in a three or simply change of sport.

PBF is a great boxer and all but who the hell has he KO'd at or above 140lbs? He couldn't even KD Gatti and Gatti has gone down on everyone. Gatti also took a METRIC TON of leather and didn't go down.

PBF didn't even drop Judah. Cotto is too natural at the weight and too well conditioned.......Cotto has also shown to have a good chin at 147lbs in taking flush shots from both Judah and Mosley and not going down and winning.

I dont understand why guys are jumping on the PBF KO's Cotto bandwagon....because he KO'd Hatton

It will Happen Because Floyd Mayweather is most accurate puncher in Boxing.. He is amongst the best Counter Punchers.. and "Come forward, Pressure" Fighters are tailor made for him...

        Cotto Could prove me wrong...

I have been telling this to people for a long time, they think pressure fighters beat Floyd and everytime floyd beats them, Welter dont you think If a fighter can hardly connect a decent shot on a defensive genius, is wasting all of his energy punching while he cannot connect properly and effectively at the same time getting countered by right hands and lefts, what happens if Cotto gets tired like he got in the last two rounds against Mosley? Mosley's defense is'nt exactly superb, dont you think a fighter can mentally break down if he finds out he cant connect with a decent shot and keeps throwing punches that are being blocked while getting countered by shots for 12 rounds at the same time?

Exactly.. I keep saying.. What could beat Floyd.. Is a sharp shooting Straight puncher with above average accuarcy and POP.. Who is also an Above average Counter puncher.. Someone in vein of Kessler But Obvioulsy a Smaller faster version.. but you get the idea.. Perhaps Vernon Forrest ..

But NOt sluggers or even Boxer Punchers..

I think he might stop Cotto. Im not convinced of Cotto's chin just yet and Floyd would catch him coming in all night. Floyd isnt the biggest puncher, but look at the Hatton fight. The perfectly timed punch is more important then power, and Floyd can time anybody.

See Forrest was able to beat Mosley By punching where mosely was going to be... Not where he was...

The thing with that is that Cotto is not a straight pressure fighter. He has shown in past fights that he also counters well and boxes well while going back and also has a very good stiff jab.

Cotto is more like a Barrera in that he can pressure and be that fighter but when its more prudent to box he can do that as well. I think Cotto is a very smart boxer and would be able to adapt throughout a fight with PBF....thing is PBF adapts ******ly well and is extremely skilled at knows when to open up and lead or when to use a traditonal guard and counter.

Either way Cotto is more adept at modifying than Hatton was and will be much more competitive than he was. We all knew Hatton HAD to put pressure to win, not necessarily so for Cotto.

If Cotto boxes with Mayweather it will be even worse for him.

He won't KO Cotto because he can't KO anyone he will duck. mayweather is hellbent on ducking Cotto, his publicist even said he will NOT fight Cotto in 2008.

if he believed he could knock Cotto out he would sign up and do it. But he does not have the self belief.
