Peter improving? Lol, where did you see the improvement? Getting knocked down 3 times by McCline who couldn't last 3 rounds with Valuev? If McCline had a little better conditioning for that fight, Peter would not even be in the title picture today.

That said, I think he still wins by TKO in mid rounds.

rahman still had at least somewhat of a semblance of his jab and halfway descent hand speed in the maskeav fight. I think that fight really damaged him as he just seems to have lost all his descent ability ever since

Ive never been big on peter and was always one of the very few that thought his power was laughably overrated but I think he was just out of shape for mccline. he seems a lot better under 250 lbs as he was for wlad and toney the second time. he's still very crude and lumbering regardless,,,but I think he's better than what he showed in his last fight. he needs to get that weight around 240 lbs

Peter's STAMINA. Obviously his chin seems to have been exposed, but in comparison to the Wlad fight, he closed out the fight by shutting McCline out the second half of the fight and didn't seem that tired, even in the 12th round.

Yeah McCline, who had what, 10 days notice for that fight, would have won if he'd had at least 2 months. But did you see the one judge's scorecard? He had it as a shutout for Peter, minus the two rounds that McCline knocked him down.

Maskaev has long fought with injury. And if he comes into the fight injury free he could repeat the Rahman heroics. If he stands toe to toe with peter, he could stop him.

As seen by Peter being knocked down 3 times by Mccline.
Yer not the only one. I think Maskaev can win. I'm not guaranteeing it but I think he can do it especially after what Mccline did to Peter.

You're not the only one, i think he stops peter late, Maskaev is by no means the best of the current champs but i feel is underated, Peter on the otherhand is highly overated, he was billed as the second coming of Tyson, but lets be honest he should have 2 losses at this point, maybe 3

Mccline was doing very well against valuev when he injured his knee and could'nt continue it had nothing to do with valuev.
