He will never be what he once was. Maybe he can have another big fight after Trinidad, but he will never be an elite fighter again.

I agree, he's done. I think tito's only chance to win is "catch" Roy and I think he will and I think Roy will retire. If Tito doesn't catch Roy, I think Roy wins by decision. 10 days away....

im a roy fan, always have been, but what do you guys think he would have to become elite again?
I think he dusts tito fairly easily, then will probably have winner of bhop/cal, i know alot disagree but i think he still beats both in not very exciting matches, but then what?
        Tarver/Johnson again? Dawson?Erdei?Tyson? Holyfield?
Who does he have to beat to claim the throne again? Regardless of age, decling skill etc and whether it can be done or not - just what would it take?

I wish, as a fan. But it doesnt look promising, he just doesnt seem to have it physically. Its a real shame, man just turned old over night.

nope too old and been ktfo twice. Roy is one of my favourite fighters of all time but he needs to retire, I have heard reports he is really struggling to make weight for this fight and that is what has had him beat in the past (coming down in weight) allthough he got away with it (just) in the first Tarver bout it definately cost him in his next 2/3 fights. Even though I expect him to win I wouldnt be suprised if Tito Kos him again.... What a shame

Jones Junior beats Tito then he gets beaten by B Hop in an epic match and the two veterans retire.

              You heard it here first.

                Are you serious?
If Roy can't beat Tarver Or Glen Johnson what makes you think he can beat Bore hard or Calzaghe?

He is shot. the magic is gone.

He should hang them up already.

When your main assets are speed, reflexes and athletisism, which are the first things to go you can turn old quick. To become an elite fighter again he would have to beat a string of the top light heavies out there, not just a once great but faded former welterweight and i dont think roy's capable of that

I dont think he will ever be elite again.. but still think he has the style that beats some of the elite fighters.. does that make any sense???
