Remember while Morrison had a weak chin and got rocked easily he was NEVER counted out, only TKO'd. The man got up everytime he went down, he had heart (except when he got BLUDGEONED by Mercer but he was out on his feet and was TKO'd). He was about to get knocked out by Ruddock but unleashed one of the most beautiful counter left hooks of all time.

Wlad punches straighter and takes his time unlike these two other guys who went WILD on their opponents. Klitschko doesn't go for the KO he just lets it come. Lets see if he has an impressive knockout against Sultan, I might change my opinion.

But George Foreman didn't come close to KO'ing Tommy. If Foreman had caught him cold in the 1st round like Bent did you can be sure he would have. Boxing is funny that way.

Thats because Morrison avoided exchanging with George and got on his bike all night. Its hard to knockout a person when they are not willing to exchange and moving around the ring. But If Morrison stood in front of George, he would have been knocked out quickly.

I totally agree. But if Morrison hadn't tried to KO Michael Bent in the 1st round (leaving himself wide open) he would have eventually outclassed and KO'd him. Morrison was looking past Bendt to bigger fights ahead and got careless. That's why you can't just look at results and draw conclusions about things like punching power. My original point was that Klitschko is a completely superior offensive fighter, but Ruddock had more raw punching power. I could be wrong, but there is no real proof that I am or not.

The question is who hits harder, not who is more quicker or who is more accurate.

            Its Frank Bruno.

Too bad that Bruno never fought Ruddock. It would have been a hell of a fight.

I agree it would have been a very exciting fight. If Bruno had a good chin he would have done more in his career, He gave Lennox Lewis Hell in their fight I believe Bruno was ahead on the scorecards before the fight was stopped.

You could say Ike Ibeabuchi hits harder than Wladimir Klitschko because he TKO'd Byrd in 5, Wlad went the distance with a prime Byrd and TKO'd a past prime Byrd in 7.

But that kind of math doesn't work in boxing and it's kind of obvious that Wladimir is the more proven puncher.

But from what I saw Bruno's punches had legitimate power and strenght behind them, they would knock his opponents off the floor and out of the ring like Foremans and Shavers punches. Shame he couldn't put his power to use much better. Bruno also had ridiculously long arms.

2:21 of this vid is still the hardest punch I've ever heard or seen. It sounds like Holmes was hit with a baseball bat, he went out cold but hitting the canvas woke him up.

I disagree on the power part. wald hits harder than both in my opinion. chins are equal

foreman also couldnt take out less than iron chinned alex stewart and lou savareese. briggs didnt have a chin of steel either and he went the distance. foreman was too slow at that point in his career to put the lights out on most guys. besides moorer that is,,lol
