I can concur. Glen is as old school as you can get. He WILL fight anyone of the best out there but you are going a little far calling Roy and Chad overhyped peices of trash. I see you as a WAY better user than to resort to berating other fighters who put it out on the line. Maybe I was wrong about that one.

Just joking, if you read the whole post you'll see that I'm actually picking Dawson on this one. Glen Johnson just differs a lot from RJJ and Chad Dawson who were both highly touted, had good management and decisions go their way (except RJJ in the olympics).

Johnson beat lots of good fighters quite impressively but still didn't get the nod.

My apologize than I stopped reading after you called Chad trash That's the politics of the sport. Most of the time if you don't have the connections things tend to not go your way. It's bull**** but that's the way of the world.

First of all if Glen thinks Roy was overhyped he's CRAZY!!!! Didn't nobody want to fight Roy when he was smashing dudes all throughout the 90's to 2000. But once he took an L then people want to start calling his name. Dawson is going to dump this dude!!!!!!!!!!

Dawson is the worst style matchup Johnson could fight at this age. Anyone who spends most of his time keeping the distance behind a jab is going to give Johnson hell. Johnson is going to look old against a young fighter when they fight. Thats why Johnson has been fighting guys like Pineda and Reggie Johnson, they mask his true age.

So he has losses. He ain't afraid to go and fight guys in their home towns, he'll fight anyone, he takes risks. He'll even fight Jesus Ruiz and Eric Harding, as great as those guys are.
