Former light heavyweight champion Glen Johnson is ready to give it one last shot when he takes on WBC light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson in the main event of an April 12 Showtime event. Glen Johnson definately has a punchers chance...Dawson has a suspect chin, he was knocked down and hurt in his 2 biggest wins over Adamek and Harding.
I still think Dawson wins a UD, but I won't be surprised if he hits the canvas.
I'm not totally sold on Dawson yet so this fight should let us know if he is the real deal or not.Last edited by WLAD OWNS; 01-08-2008, 02:31 AM.Comment

for real, cross your fingers, this is a great matchup.
cant beat the contrast
slick southpaw boxer puncher vs rugged orthodox do whatever the **** warrior
one of the earlier posters called dawsons chin suspect, i disagree with that based on their reasoning, adamke caught him with a world class counter and chad fought back hard.... i never thought he was in danger of being KO'edComment

Dawson out boxes Johnson and wins by wide UD or even late TKO, Bernard Hopkins actually stopped Johnson late and i expect Dawson to do it as well. But a safe bet would be Dawson by UD.Comment
