its easy....mayweather wants to cotto fight de la hoya first, so more people start knowing him, so by the time he fight with mayweather there will be much more money. of course cotto must beat de la hoya first =P.

six that's six different excuses to flee a fight with Cotto. Throw enough horsesh** on the wall and some of it will eventually stick.
