in the past fighters such as cotto have been easy work for oscar.
Cotto's style is taylor made for de la hoya, however since he is old and mostly inactive I think its another close fight. de la hoya losing by close decision.

Oscar has only been knocked out once, by Bernard Hopkins the reigning Light Heavy weight champ of the world, you really think someone who was fighting at 140 just recently is even going to itimidate Oscar? Oscar has faced much much harder punchers than Cotto so what makes you think a knockout is even possible?. Oscar would be the biggest and hardest puncher Cotto has ever faced, and his chin has already proved to not be stable so I think the smart money would be on Oscar, considering he would also be the best boxer Cotto has ever faced. Cotto is one of my favorite fighters, but he needs to stay away from Oscar at this point. I mean if the fight goes 12 i can see Cotto wearing him down from pressure and maybe get a victory but if he couldnt do that to Mosely Im not so sure, i think Oscar KOs Cotto similar to Mayorga.

Oscar is old too, after Cotto beats him they gonna say "oh yeah he was old like Mosley . . ."

BTW, it's "Oscar Gay La Hoya," Toincito.

As much as I like Cotto, if Oscar comes in decent shape he will whip him.

At 154 Oscar De La Loca has a very good chance of beating Cotto. He has to come in very very good shape thou, not sure if at this stage he's willing to do that.

i think Dela Hoya can beat Cotto im a fan of both fighters however i think that Dela Hoya jab will bother Cotto & Dela Hoya is great at switching his combination from head to body

if he tires it could be a different story however

I view them as being smaller. Cotto will not bully DLH early in the fight, if anything I can see DLH winning the earlier rounds in this fight. I can see Cotto wearing DLH out with his consistent pressure though. If he can land a flush left hook it may spell trouble for DLH, however if DLH revives the jab it'll be a lot closer. I can see Cotto winning a decision
Now "THAT" is what people should realize! Your assessment is top notch!

I think Oscar has a very good chance to beat Cotto. Cotto is very good but I think a prime DLH or a prime Shane Mosely would hand him his ass..and a prime Tito at 147 would decapitate him. I like Cotto but even DLH at this stage would beat him. Just look at the fight DLH had with PBF..I bet that if DLH was more active he would of won that fight.., a prime DLH would beat PBF at 147 without a doubt.
