SInce Oscar fought Hopkins, he's nothing but damaged goods. After that vicious left hook to the body he received, it never is the same. Cotto is just gonna focus on close-range fighting and destroy him easily in 10. People forget that's Cotto's money punch? can't wait for Cotto to retire that drag queen. Oscar is old too, after Cotto beats him they gonna say "oh yeah he was old like Mosley . . ."
Why do people think Oscar de la Drag stands a chance against Cotto?

Maybe because Oscar is going to fight him at 154. Thats why.SInce Oscar fought Hopkins, he's nothing but damaged goods. After that vicious left hook to the body he received, it never is the same. Something I will let you in on. If Cotto thinks this will be in for an easy fight for him he can be ready for a big ass surprise. Even at 34, Oscar is no pushover by anymeans. It will be a competitive fight and its a toss up on who is going to win IMO.Comment

Let's speak on facts. For Oscar to win...he NEEDS to KO Cotto. True, he has the power...but inside fighting is Cotto's forte, and he's VERY hard to clinch, watch Mosley's fight, he tried clinching into Cotto and he just shoves you away, and quickly left blow to the body. Oscar's body won't endure, and Oscar after 8 gets tired, Cotto doesnt.Maybe because Oscar is going to fight him at 154. Thats why.

I think people see Oscar's chances being as big as Mosley's chances when first announced that he would be fighting Cotto.
I view them as being smaller. Cotto will not bully DLH early in the fight, if anything I can see DLH winning the earlier rounds in this fight. I can see Cotto wearing DLH out with his consistent pressure though. If he can land a flush left hook it may spell trouble for DLH, however if DLH revives the jab it'll be a lot closer. I can see Cotto winning a decisionComment

I can see the same thing except Oscar either getting knocked out by a vicious body hook or just quitting in his corner...he's old.I think people see Oscar's chances being as big as Mosley's chances when first announced that he would be fighting Cotto.

I can respect one's opinion to say that Cotto could beat Oscar but to say that Oscar has no chance and will get blow out easily in 10 is just ridiculous. Oscar is a great fighter and is still very dangerous.
And as for excuses, what will be you're excuse if Cotto gets whooped by DLH, which I believe is possible...Comment
