The Official Thread To Ban Anthony Mundine From Boxing

I think my hands are tied. I have tried everything.

No i think i might just stop supporting boxing. Sure its great to see mayweather and calzaghe, and other fighters that are the best do well and do there thing in the ring. But i need an Australian who can take on the world. Thats what i like to see aswell.

Can't he be banned or something? Because his next opponent could be seriously hurt in the ring.?

As Many of you know Anthony Mundine is a talented and gifted fighter. He is a genuine and real chance to beat anyone in the division, including Kessler and Bute if he fights well on his night. He could be a dominant force in SMW. But i don't want him fighting, making a joke of our sport.

What is Mundine Doing :

- Fighting Guys coming off 5 losses, or guys who struggle to beat local pub fighters. E.G Nievas, Clavero. He then hurts them in the ring.
- Charging $50 a PPV. Australian boxing fans have no class international fighter other than him (an australian that can go far in the sport internationally).
- Pretty much a quality, top notch boxer against an rsl fighter. Like a big bully against a small boy at school.

Conclusion: I have heard about Mundines next fight not being Kessler, Bute or Lacy. In fact its a rematch with Sam Soliman. I spewed on my screen when i read this. And something needs to be done. The WBA can't stop sanctioning this. And he shouldn't be allowed to box. He needs some form of a ban.

Im so close to giving up on boxing. Its my favourite sport, i love it. But when my favourite local fighters do this, i feel its time i move on, and just focus on soccer.

I understand it though, I think it's nice to root for your fellow countryman, it's kind of the nature of sport. It's okay for Americans they don't compete on a world stage in sports like Football,Rugby, Cricket in a lot of sports they have their own **** going on and when it comes to boxing should be less likely than everyone else to be clouded by national bias.

I'm discounting the Ryder cup. I guess thats one.

Boxing is his job. I dont see why you want him banned from his job because he doesn`t fight who you want him to fight.

Where does it say that you have to fight opponents who have titles?

Some people pay to watch a fight, not an exchange of belts.

mate i'm as frustrated as you with not just mundine, but the sport of boxing...just let it go and forget the guy exists..

thats why i never follow 1 boxer..i am happy just to see a good fight...if my preferred fighter wins or loses, i dont really care.

He gets hit to often and is walking into a disaster. Kat vs Earl was prob my favourite fight on the last few years.

Then we can talk about Dib.

Then Danny Green.

But these guys don't have half the natural talent or ability Mundine has to go to the USA and go big.

Well Kat has already done that, but he needs some solid defence.

Its just dissapointing being an Australian boxing fan and you gotta sit through this ****. Its like Calzaghe not fighting Hopkins this year, and fighting Nievas, to rip off some supporters.
