People say he has lost the determination to fight again. The hunger. He was my favourite Australian fighter. Now we have no one.

The guy ****d his daughters for years. I mean the causes you list there are pretty much insignificant, don't you think?

You're a boxing fan right? figure that one out.
      Why?

Do you know what its like to have one world class fighter in your country and he fights bums. To see boxing crumbling in your country. And to see the WBA continue to approve mismatches.

If anything a boxing fan would support this. Mundines stealing money from the australian public. Massive mismatches with are having his opponents put in danger.

Stop going to his fights then. I'm not sure if you should drop watching boxing altogether but if you feel like you are wasting money on Mundine's fights you should stop paying for them.

Pay when he fights someone that matters. Spread the word around too maybe people will get the message. But most of the time people just want to see their countryman beat some bums, trust me, I know. People here were excited to see Asikainen put the beating on some unranked cans rather than fight world champions/contenders.

Glad he got knocked out by one.

I think my hands are tied. I have tried everything.

No i think i might just stop supporting boxing. Sure its great to see mayweather and calzaghe, and other fighters that are the best do well and do there thing in the ring. But i need an Australian who can take on the world. Thats what i like to see aswell.

Can't he be banned or something? Because his next opponent could be seriously hurt in the ring.?

Or, you could root for someone that doesn't happen to share your nationality. I know. That's dumb of me to say, but SOMEONE should do it.

It does seem like his recent opposition is atleast two classes lower than he is (D or C at best). I'm not sure how long the WBA will let him fight padded up cans like that. Maybe the WBA will strip him off his title soon.

He is getting older too why would he waste his time fighting guys who have lost most of their recent fights? I guess for easy money.

which soccer team do you follow?

mate i'm as frustrated as you with not just mundine, but the sport of boxing...just let it go and forget the guy exists..

thats why i never follow 1 boxer..i am happy just to see a good fight...if my preferred fighter wins or loses, i dont really care.

As Many of you know Anthony Mundine is a talented and gifted fighter. He is a genuine and real chance to beat anyone in the division, including Kessler and Bute if he fights well on his night. He could be a dominant force in SMW. But i don't want him fighting, making a joke of our sport.

                      What is Mundine Doing :

                      - Fighting Guys coming off 5 losses, or guys who struggle to beat local pub fighters. E.G Nievas, Clavero. He then hurts them in the ring.
                      - Charging $50 a PPV. Australian boxing fans have no class international fighter other than him (an australian that can go far in the sport internationally).
                      - Pretty much a quality, top notch boxer against an rsl fighter. Like a big bully against a small boy at school.

Conclusion: I have heard about Mundines next fight not being Kessler, Bute or Lacy. In fact its a rematch with Sam Soliman. I spewed on my screen when i read this. And something needs to be done. The WBA can't stop sanctioning this. And he shouldn't be allowed to box. He needs some form of a ban.

Im so close to giving up on boxing. Its my favourite sport, i love it. But when my favourite local fighters do this, i feel its time i move on, and just focus on soccer.
                      its football
