Guys I realise that these ideas seem great in theory but we've got to take the safety of the boxers into account.

This idea of wiping out the classes below 126 might seem feasable for the highest quality fighters, who can still utilise their ability to great success at various weights, however the structure of boxing is not just based around the best fighters. Boxing is an inclusive sport and there are many many many "poor quality" fighters all around the world.

Obviously these fighters cannot be excluded from the sport, and unfortunately these guys aren't gonna able to fight in a safe environment if we start making them all fight guys much much bigger. Nobody wants to see an increase in ring deaths but that is very likely to occur at the low-end of boxing if such ideas were put into practice.

Anyone who'd like to see the divison's below 126 erradicated is a complete & smacked ass. Great fights & great fighters have come from there throughout history.
The Fight of The year took place down at 122, you geeks....& it was a bloody brawl fought at a high level.....knockdowns, power punches, & a stoppage.

I rarely watch any fights below Lightweight let alone Featherweight.

That's your choice. If you cannot be entertained by boxers simply because they are smaller than others......nothing can be done about it. You're truly missing out, however.
Anyone who would choose to watch lummoxes like Klitschko. Maskaev, Peter, or Briggs over fighting machines like R. Marquez & Vazquez....has a hang-up that prevents them from being true fans of boxing. True, in the truest sense.

Flyweight, Featherweight and Super feather can all stay They have Pac-Man, Marquez etcc and Flyweight have Donaire who I am excited about. The bantams can stay as well and the straweights can go. Instead of a light cruiser why not just up the limit on light heavy and super middle so that the jump is not that big but we maintain the number of weight classes. i don't think we need more champions as it take a long time for a weight class t hit it's stride in elite fighters.

I don't understand why some people push the lower weights away when they have some great fighters like vasquez and marquez etc..

Super flyweight and super bantamweight should not exist. Super middleweight should be 170, and the light heavyweight limit should be increased to 180.

The straweights definitely need to go, that's a ****ing pathetic division. No one wants to see a bunch of toothpicks fight each other, the flyweight and bantamweight division are also pathetic. Besides Vasquez and Marquez there is nothing exciting anything below the featherweight division. The day the that the lower weights become main attractions is the day boxing dies, but recently I've been seeing lot of these fu**ing lower weights fighting and it's becoming annoying, particularly on Showtime. And believe me size does matter.

I think Super middle should be 170 as well.

Light Heavy at 180 sounds good too.

if you are replying to me than you didn't read my post properly. I said wipe out the 6(unbelievable number) divisions below 126(featherweight). I don't think its too much to ask for a 105 guy to gain weight and fight at 126.
