1)Yes i also think Benn won the second fight against eubank, that doesn't ever equal a win against roy jones though

2)Please dont ever mention Steve collins in the same breath as roy jones

3) Give jones credit, he beat hopkins and a prime toney, id have to pick him over michael Nunn for style reasons, but im no expert on nunn.

4)Has it ever entered peoples minds that some fighters didnt actually wanna fight roy jones? toney till this day has no problems with the loss and hopkins has been ducking a jones rematch under the guise of a 60/40 split for years, when jones said he'd fight hopkins again, hopkins didnt wanna know. Jones's resume isnt spectacular, but he has some nice names on his record.

5)Montel griffin couldnt go 2 rounds or summin on the rematch with Jones.

6) Jones didnt just beat the majority of his opponents, He dominated them, Benn wanted nothing to do with toney, RJJ handled him in his prime (weight loss or not) Even in the Mc clenann fight Benn was in serious trouble, Watson stopped him, Collins ended his carrer, did anyone of those boxers have Roy Jones's talent?

7) You gotta look at strengths and weaknesses, name me one Strength Benn eubank, Collins and Hopkins had over Jones:

speed? Never,
Power, No,
Skills? No,
Defense, No

Therefore why would they have anything more than a punchers chance against him? no one knows for sure, and styles make fights, but in reality they didnt have the style for Jones imo

IF anybody had the style to trouble Jones JR it was Nunn he was tall had fast hands & he was a Southpaw

Jones JR Had all the pysical advantages but that does'nt always win fights as the old saying goes styles make fights

regardless how strongly u believe Roy would have beaten these fighters it dont make it so that he would have u just cause u say so ,i dont know about u but i would rather have seen Roy demonstrate his superiority by beating them rather than fighing bums like Kelly,Lucas,Hall , & just claim that he would have done regardless

Nunn was apparently shot then why did Roy not fight him he found the time to beat ,Hall ,Lucas,Kelly,Frazier ,etc yet claimed why would he fight someone like Nunn Who had so many losses on his record LOL

Hold on a min, just because one fighter doesnt fight another, that doesnt mean he would lose the fight.

I never once said EVERY fighter ducked jones, but come on man, ****ing hopkins clearly didnt want none, he knew the score, toney took the jones defeat like a man, Jones was probably cautious in defending his unbeaten record and his position a draw in boxing, but you cant seriously tell me the guys you listed would have a legitmate shot at prime roy jones. He has some good names on his record, not all great names, but some good names.

And to answer the question Toney had ****ing serious power at 160-168, its not jones's fault he couldnt make weight, toney was the man, jones moved up a weight to fight the man, give him credit. Tarver had Power at 175 fact, Glen Johnson had decent power at 175, so jones did fight some decent guys.

to be fair Griffin was done he was hurt & Griffin did show decent reecouprative powers in his fights with Toney although Roy hit a lot harder than Toney & when he got u hurt he he didnt let u off the hook very often
