    1. Ruslan Chagaev - he is a very good fighter and he is probably the biggest threat to Wlad because he is a skilled southpaw that can punch hard. He is a tough durable fighter and he looked very impressive winning a decisive UD over Valuev.

Next fight vs Matt Skelton - Chagaev should win by wide UD or late TKO

    2. Sultan Ibragimov - he arguably has the best handspeed in the division and he has some decent power. Jeff Mayweather has him fighting a safety first style, but he is gonna have to go back to his old brawling pressure style if he wants to be competive with Wlad or upset him. He is a tough guy with a big heart and we will find out what his chin is made of when he eats the steelhammer bombs from Wlad.

Next fight vs Wladimir Klitschko - Ibragimov's chances are slim to none, he will get stopped in the mid rounds.

    3. Oleg Maskaev - he isn't getting any younger and he is starting to wear down with his back problems. He is a tough technical fighter and he can punch like a mule. He truly is Rahman's daddy.

Next fight vs Sam Peter - the young lion Sam Peter should win by TKO

just as I thought. all three would get some picks. but it looks like chagaev is the winner so far. it would be nice to see every combination of the 3 to face each other down the road, cuz they would match perfectly with each other in size and skill.

I think all three are underrated to some degree. I think Chagaev has the best chin, Ibragimov has the fastest handspeed and Maskaev is the hardest puncher of the three. But Maskaev will be 39 soon, and with the long period of inactivity and back problems, I doubtful he can defeat Peter.

Those three are very good fighters, but the two most talented heavyweights are Wladimir and Povetkin.

I go with Ibragimov. I got my answer when Chagaev pulled out of their unification fight to let Holyfield in. Chagaev was mysteriously ill then fine about 2 weeks later and already trying to schedule a fight. He obviously thought he wasn't ready for Sultan yet or King's buy off was too big to pass up. Or maybe I'm wrong and he really was sick but nothing was really ever said or proven about this. I just don't see anything impressive with Chagaev in his recent fights since steppin up. He looked slow and mediocre with average power in both his fights with Ruiz and Valuev. In my opinion, Sultan would win be easy UD.

I have to admit that i was fairly impressed with the way chageav beat valuev but after watching the ruiz fight i am not so sure about him.

He was a great amateur and it seems like he will be a good pro too because of his unorthodox southpaw style, good chin and above average power. He is a bit slow though because he carries a bit too much extra-weight but his conditioning is still good.

Maskaev is good but he is getting older and although he is very tough, he is also very easily knockoutable because of his suspect chin.

Ibragimov is good I guess but he hasn't proven much, Briggs and Holyfield didn't even seem to try and Sultan couldn't put them out. We will see what he is made of against Wlad.
I really have my doubts on him being better than sultan. he's stronger but sultan has better hand speed,,,,throws better combos and has better foot speed. chageav did struggle mightily with ruiz and according to a respectable poster on here didnt deserve the decision over virchis. too many people judge sultan on his lone awful performance against austin when he came in too heavy. chageav is a more dangerous puncher but overall I like iggy's all around skills

I'll rather have close decisions against Virchis, Ruiz and Valuev than a draw against RAY AUSTIN and decision wins against Briggs and Old Man Holyfield.

Like I said, lets see how Ibragimov performs against Wladimir. We haven't seen him against tough opposition yet. I'm not sure if he could beat any of the guys Chagaev beat.

most likely Chagaev but its close if Sultan didint draw against Austin I would have picked him but clearly Sultan is very hittable and can be hurt pretty easily. I havent seen Chagaev down or hurt yet. Maskaev is Rahmans daddy but thats about it, hes somehwat of a warrior and will give his best if he goes in there focused but that hasnt been the case earlier in his carreer.
