I wouldn't write off Paulie just yet, he was in there with a good fighter, the #1 contender. Some fighters don't throw thier money punch for a reason. It looked like he jammed his thumb, and couldn't throw that jab. I give him credit for not using it as an excuse. Yo, the WBO WW Champ can box. And show's a great deal of courage. No Power behind the punches, but the dude got skills. You can't deny Malignaggi doesn't have a chin, the dude can take a hit. It be Interesting to see what Hatton brings out in Paulie.

He is lucky that all the 140 Talent from the last few years have all decided to fight up at Welterweight.
He is somehow glorified for getting his face smashed in against a weight drained Cotto and a win over a tired 36 yr old N'dou for a belt vacated by the true 140 champ.
I've nothing against the guy but I don't understand all the plaudits?
Perhaps its because he is american?

Certain posters on here seem to think the guy has achieved something.....
And that he would beat the recognised 140 champ yet he struggled with Ngoudjo and his best win is over a 36 yr old N'dou..
He also gets praised for having his face smashed in against a weight drained Cotto...
The boy has heart but I don't think he is strong enough to be the best at 140.

no draw, foo. you ever watched a boxing fight? paulie won that fight clear cut. where do you see a draw? ngoudjo looked good in a few rounds and certain spots, but paulie owned the action. ngoudjo could have done way better but he held back a bit, because of what paulie was doing. sorry buddy, paulie had a off night and still won that fight decisively.
