One of my fav calzaghe fights. I've got the Showtime version on my Apple Itouch. As its only two rounds, I watch sometime when I'm in a cafe or somewhere.

One of the most explosive and exciting fights I watched. Here it is, if anyone missed it:

It was one of those fights that Calzaghe talked about in his book where he was drawn into a slugfest.
What it showed to me was the standard of Calzaghe's chin and his recovery rate, the right Mitchell nailed him with was a peach and really hurt JC but he was the one who came back firing and nailed Mitchell.

Unfortunately due to his hand problems we very rarely see him set down on his shots like he did then, which is a shame because he really can ****, he just opts not to, to protect his hands.

The number of flush power shots that Calz lands in this fight is amazing. He shows a lot of weaknesses, but damn it's hard to believe Mitchell survived as long as he did

That was a beautiful performance, not many people could have got up from that shot, I can't believe people call it an early stoppage either, he caught Mitchell with 20+ flush punches.
