Hatton won't destroy Malignaggi if Paulie ties him up inside like Floyd did. If Paulie stays in the center of the ring for the most part he'll give Hatton a lesson. If he chooses to lay on the ropes and counter he's asking for trouble. Floyd was able to lay on the ropes and make Hatton wear himself out and catch him, I don't think Paulie would do that.

It's hard to keep it in the center of the ring against a bull. And Floyd didn't just tie Hatton up; they clinched and fought. Now Floyd is very skilled at defending himself on the inside. But that's not exactly easy. Can PM keep from getting his rubs smashed? I doubt it.

Watching the fight tonight I can't see how Malignaggi is going to keep Hatton off of him. Once Hatton gets inside, Malignaggi will get battered.

Mayweather only dominated on the inside after the 6th round. By that time Hatton had absorbed so many of Mayweather's shots due to Cortez's breaking up that he was in no shape to dominate on the inside
