He would have to basically double the "performance" he put up against Oscar, otherwise he gets no respect here. He's a safety first non-risk taking fighter. The only thing exciting 'bout him is his mouth.

If he beats Cotto then all the questions would be answered. If still think he is p4p the best right now, but alot of people throw Cottos name out there and rightfully so.

C'monmang is becoming very popular here LMAO.

Damn how many rounds did Herman win against Malignaggi? Both the Cotto and Herman fights were tough for him.

              Give the man his credit

Floyd's legacy is sealed as a HOFer , regardless what other opponents people think he should face.

As for Cotto, I don't see anything particularly extraordinary to indicate he would annihilate Floyd if and when they meet. However, I do feel Cotto is a tough fighter against anyone in the current division.

His performance against Sugar Cane Mosley, did show his ability to be versatile as a boxer/brawler and I'll give him credit for that.

But, what if Cotto loses before facing Floyd?

That's a good possibility if he steps in there with Williams or even Clottey.

Now, if Floyd eeks out a decision win against Cotto, many will say he still needs to tested against the likes of Williams, Margarito, Shame, etc.

And, if by some twist of fate, Floyd loses to Cotto, (anything is possible) then I'm almost certain he'll call for an immediate re-match, rather than go out on a loss.

If Floyd performs the way he did against Hatton, and either TKO's or KO's Cotto, then give the man his due credit and let him finish counting his money,
              for Christsakes.

i didnt realise there is so much hate for hands down the most technically gifted fighter of his generation. so what if floyd doesnt stand toe to toe and war out all of his fights, does that make him less of a boxer? u dont hear people complainin that george foreman was only a ****ers and never jabbed and outpointed his opponents with great skill! floyd has beat every1 that has been put in front of him and guaranteed he will do the same to cotto
