      Yes he was, but I was shocked how ripped Hopkins looked and how ready he was. He definitely came to win that night. Of course he is older now and IMO Calzaghe is better than Tarver, so hopefully we'll see.

        This was quite a fight, Brewer was extremely aggressive and had tremendous work rate. However, Joe seemed to adjust, and started throwing back even more punches than Brewer.

        If I remember correctly, Brewer lost a much closer fight to Ottke.

            Joe's work rate is secound to none!! I don't know where he gets it from, his true grit and heart while fighting is pritty amazin to be honest..Maybe somthing that has been overlooked...He is good champion IMO..While people talk of his slapping punches, the ones that he has been hit with in many of his fights are far from slaps but he still comes forward. Joe Calzaghe vs Byron Mitchell just watching this one again now, Yet another tearup!!!
