A couple of Calzaghe Quotes after the fight which was in 2002:

There are few big names left at light-heavyweight with Germany's Sven Ottke, who controversially took Brewer's title from him on points in 2000, plainly uninterested in a unification match.

Calzaghe added: "I told everybody that Brewer is still one of the best in the world. He should still be world champion but he got robbed by Ottke. This should have been a big-money unification fight."

"The crowd were great and they really encouraged me as usual. Now I think Hopkins can be made.

"He'll see this fight and he'll be interested. Just imagine what the atmosphere in front of 40,000 people in the Millennium Stadium would be like."

Unfortunately the fight couldn't be made could it Bore hard?

The word duck gets thrown around but this was an unequivacal ducking of the highest order. Yet here we are, and at the tender age of 43 Bernard is taking this fight that he wouldn't take when he was at the peak of his boring powers. The words 'cashing' and 'out' come into my head, whenever I think about this fight.

Normally I'd agree with you, except I though Hopkins was cashing out against Tarver. His ego is probably too big to do that.
