understood, but is that what you want for juan diaz?

no obviously not but, you got to think of the greater good. Diaz might lose out, but the sport will gain by diaz being stripped of the title.

No because from what I've seen, Diaz is better than Katsidis and would punish him.

This is the thing, and I don't blame Diaz at all for this. He has 1 fight left on his contract w/ DON KING. He isn't going to renew another one, he's done with DON. The reason the fight isn't happening is because KING won't let it. Assuming he did, he would then, knowing Don King, throw all kinds of stipulations about future bouts of Diaz's, and payoffs. He would basically still be able to make money off of Diaz in the future. He's that slick. There is a reason Don King is who he is. He is the dirtiest mu****a I've ever seen, but also one of the smartest about money. So Diaz is a position of listen to everyone else and fight Katsidis, and be screwed by KING for many more fights to come. OR fight Nate Campbell and be done with Don King. Even if he would be stripped he could fight Katsidis in the summer and regain his belt. If I were him I do the 2nd option.

thats good. just keep "Juan" belt so he won't be bogged down with worthless mandatories against lesser opponents and Juan Diaz can be free to fight the best fighter out there.

its overrated to hold all four belts because of worthless mandatories.

yep I agree with the consensus - better to lose the belt and King and then get on with his career. Katsidis won't be anymore of a "Champion" than Gavin Rees though with or without the belt.

The WBO actually seem one of the less corrupt sanctioning bodies, which is precisely why they haven't elevated diaz to "Super Champion (wtf)" like a certain other organisation would.

but also he is the one who gave his fast title shot. it pretty hard to unify the title like that

the WBO could be the worst organization

when the brawl happen with Holt vs Torres they should have hold the Columbian offical or Torres camp as well as Holt camp fine.

Another part they should have given Holt a rematch but they refused
