lol I bet he does want to kill Mayorga, Ricardo put it on him Scarface style. That first fight litterally put Mayorga on my all time list of favorite fighters. I was laughin my ass off when he lit that cigarette in the ring, guy was ****in crazy.


But shoulder or no shoulder, Nothin was stoppin Mayorga at that point in his career. The dude had steel in his chin, and those wingin hooks were meant to decapitate for 12 rounds.

Mayorga was ****ed from the start with Trinidad. Don king pushed him 2 weight classes about where he was champ. Was in jail just a month before the fight, and only trained 28 days.

I made a thread about it. After ESPN showed the replay so it was fresh in everyones mind. Mayorga one the poll by a lot.
Very similar fights tho. Worst ref job ive seen in that fight also.
Even Roberto Duran said Mayorga fought 5 people that night. 3 judges, the ref and Cory Spinks.

To be completely honest... Vernon has not been boxing in his last few fights, which is quite a concern.

If he tries to fight Mayorga in a third fight the way he fought Baldomir or Piccirillo, he is as good as dead.
