Im going with Hopkins for many reasons.

Hes bigger and stronger than Calzaghe....at 6-1...and will probly weigh close to 190 come fight night....He weighed 189 against Tarver at 175.

He can rough up Calzaghe. The Sakio Bika fight proved that Calz does not look good against rough tough fighters. Hopkins will head butt..hit on the hip...hit late..hit behind the head...hold..he will do alot of things to frustrate Calzaghe and that will throw Calz off his gameplan.

Another reason is Hopkins counter punching..there is no way in hell Calzaghe will throw all those punches against Hopkins.....that would leave Calzaghe open for huge shots. Hopkins will make Calzaghe pay for every mistake he makes..and Hopkins will as usaul make little if any himself. Hopkins has seen speed before...its nothing new to the sport of boxing.

Joe Calzaghe has the tendency to just let his hands go ODH style and that will cost him going against Hopkins.

Hopkins will make Joe Cal fight on the inside.

Hopkins will smother those pitty pat punches.....Once Hopkins realizes that Calz cant hurt him its over.

Another reason is the defense of Hopkins..hes arguably the best defensive fighter in the sport not named Mayweather or Winky..who he just beat by the way. Hopkins is hard to hit as hell and Joe will find that out rather quickly when hes getting counbter punched to death.

Another reason is that Hopkins is an elite fighter...he has all the tools....How iwll Joe Cal react when his workrate doesnt scare him.....or when he tries to taunt Hopkins and Hopkins doesnt budge....how will he react when Hopkins lands the right hands with his head down leaving no target to hit. Hopkins will also work the body and that will slow Calzaghe down.

And lastly this fight is at 175 pounds..somewhere we havent seen Calz..we seen BHOP move up and DOMINATE the LHW Champ in Tarver.

Hopkins will lose some early rounds thenwin the fight going away. I think Calzaghe will be bruised...bloody and will known he was just in a fight.....and say what you want about Hopkins and his 12 punch a round style....against Calzaghe Hopkins will see a fighter throwing alot of punches which will let Hopkins see alot of counter punching oppurtunities....he will make Hopkins fight at times....but whn Hopkins takes this fight on the inside its over for Calzaghe.

    Hopkins UD.

    8 rounds to 4.
How does Williams beat Mayweather then? ROFL.

Bet with some ignorant Calzaghe nuthugger who thinks Calz will destroy Borehard Slopkins in two rounds with his devastating KO power.
Dude, I don't think he means a cash bet. It's just forum points.

I think it was fairly obvious from his post that he was comparing punching power, not overall ability. I see Kessler being a harder puncher than Nard as well.

Calzaghe forces fighters to fight at a pace they aren't comfortable with, he will feel Hopkins out for the first few rounds then systematically take Hopkins game apart. JC is an expert at ruining other fighter's boxing.

People take too much stock in the Bika performance as that was probably JC at his very worst. This will be totally different, JC will want to boss Hopkins and once he realises his power is nothing close to Kessler's it will be all one way traffic.

Hopkins is going to look really silly with his dumbass white boy comments.

yeah people underestimate that jC is essentially a spoiler but in an entertaining way because he throws so much. He'll spoil Hopkins spoiling. This will be a **** fight though. Besides what was it 9-3 on the scorecards.

In the bika fight he was trying to knock Bika out, and im pretty sure that nobody is ever going to knock Bika out. Joe was pretty gung ho and indiscipline. He says himself that all he had to do was take a step back.

Seeing as Hopkins is #4 on lots of peoples P4P there really is no reason why he should be overrated.
