Jermain Taylor Trains For Revenge in Vegas

LAS VEGAS – During every New Years celebration, the saying goes, “Out with the old, in with the new,” as well as “The more things change, the more they stay the same.” Neither could be more true concerning the mindset of Jermain Taylor as he starts the New Year with training camp in Las Vegas for his rematch with Kelly Pavlik, billed as
    "The Epic Battle Continues." [details]

Its funny how most people on here are calling Taylor a bum because he got KO. IMO he will learn from his mistakes and will capitalize off his mistakes he made in the first fight. Lets not forget Taylor was up on the score cards before he got careless and start backing up in the corner.

This time around it will be different and he will keep his hands up (if he knows what's good for him) I'm telling you folks, Taylor will be back and he will bring it to Pavlik. He also needs to resort to using his jab. If he can bring back his punishing jab, Pavlik will be in for a long night.(just my opinion)

I'm willing to put some points on Taylor if you guys want to bet.

He needs to become a better finisher.

I agree with you on that. He had Pavlik on ***** street and he just threw some wild, looping shots. If he can be learn to be patient and what for his openings, he should win this rematch IMO.

He needs to watch Pavlik tapes so he can learn how to finish his man.
With Stewart I honestly thought Pavlik would lose.
              Now, forget about it.
              Pavlik by Knock Out.
              Easier this time.

put 15k on it! Deal or not?

I think you're sleeping on Taylor. We would be singing a different tune if Taylor didnt get careless and backed himself in the corner and keep his hands down. He's a profesional fighter and he will learn from his mistakes. JUST WATCH AND SEE.
