Dude your totally wrong and your showing your ignorance by saying there is no art in MMA. Look at the Diego Sanchez vs (Forgot the guys name but Jujitsu guy) they show some great technique that game with both ground and standup.

Back on topic in a boxing match Chuck would be whooped on even though he weight's 205lbs. In MMA Chuck would'nt standup with PBF. He would take him down and ground/pound or submit the smaller less experienced PBF.

The only reason it has popularity and supposedly has as many buys as boxing is because the have PPV UFC all the ****in time. Compared to boxing that has maybe 2 or 3 MAJOR fights a year ( no chavez jr crap). **** PBF and DLH sold more in 1 night than them in an entire year.

It has popularity because of the opposite of that. They give free fights on SpikeTV I think every week or so. So the general public can watch it and people get into it. While boxing, they almost NEVER have free fights other than once in a while at those spanish channels. How is boxing supposed to be very popular? The public has really no way to get into boxing other than the big fights like PBF-DLH in which they just see it to say "I saw it"

They give free fights on espn2 and hbo and showtime so dont bring me that. Spike shows 2nd and 3rd fighters and so does espn2. Any fight that has any kind of name is on PPV instead of HBO or SHO. Please dont tell me that hughes and St Pierre and liddel silva was PPV worthy.
