Yea, I believe so, but Diaconu needs to get in the ring again soon or risk getting stale. That last fight of his (against Rico Hoye) was too much and made me want to see him more. He has a BIG punch!

Dawson seems poised to first fight Johnson in April, if the WBC allows it.

I agree with Shaun George, boxing is the hurt business. And that Romanian is going to hurt him, if he isn't 100% ready for a hard fight. Diaconu can box, and he can also punch hard- ask Rico Hoye!!

Shaun George is just keeping his name in the press. Its smart to do so, but one of these days he will land a fight with these guys. I think Harding would've taken him; so Diaconu is just the wrong guy for him to call out. Diaconu is very tough and is a good fighter, a fight with Tavoris Cloud is better suited for George.

I thought the fight was official? I'm surprised the WBC has said nothing about who Dawson needs to fight. I know he still needs to fight his mandatory Adrian Diaconu, but it seems like negotiations between the two are not working out.

Harding wouldn't have taken him. The guy pulled out the week of the fight with a "thumb injury", c'mon. I've seen Harding and George spar each other, Harding had nothing for George. George dropped him with a body shot and said he could feel how old he was when he hit him to the body. He said he felt like he was hitting an old fighter.
