Diaconu's only feather of note so far comes in the form of a finished, fragile Rico Hoye. Diaconu has power, but he's rather sloppy. I'm still not sold on him. Instead of freezing the clock, he should stay busy and prove that he deserves to be the number one contender, not just in the WBC's eyes, but the rest of the world too.

Hey Asian Sensation is the Dawson-Johnson fight official yet? Because according to those Canadians there is a purse bid come January 7, for a Dawson-Diaconu match up. Is there any truth to that? Even Dawson has said that he's 95% sure he will be fighting Johnson in April, but there is that 5% of uncertainty, could he be referring to the WBC not approving of his fight with Johnson, but instead trying to match him up with Diaconu?
