I think this fight could use building in the US to make it more palatable there. Ricky has put in a lot of work to break into the US and while he's hit a payout with the Mayweather fight I see no reason why he should just stop all of the momentum he's built with an ugly fight against an awkward opponent.

He just made millions less than a month ago, and he's currently on holiday. No decisions have been made about his next opponent, so it may end up being Witter anyway. "*****".

Incidentally Hatton made millions off his own name because the bulk of the money he made was from the UK pay per view receipts. He got paid like he did because he was a big name. If all you had to do to make $25-30 million was to fight Floyd Mayweather then Zab Judah, Arturo Gatti and Carlos Baldomir would have made the same amount of money.
