Will Mayweather-Cotto Ever Happen?

I don't think the fight will come off. Mayweather will probably not fight until a big fight against a lesser opponent comes up. There are no easy, big money fights available right now so don't expect to see him fight again for a long time. The man is afraid to fight anyone who is a legit threat.

I think so. Floyd is just letting Cotto marinate a bit. It wouldnt hurt Cotto to fight PWill or DLH to raise his stock a bit more so that his encounter with Floyd could be mega fight status.

If Cotto actually loses to someone like Williams/Margarito/Cintron it won't happen.

But if Cotto performs ugly and wins a bs decision against someone like Williams/Margarito/Cintron it will.
