Katsidis will stalk him though...he is very good at cutting off the ring.

Did you watch the last fight with Casamayor? He was a ****ing disgrace and should have in no way won that fight. Pound for pound? I'd say far from it at this juncture.

I think Katsidis can definitely win this fight and I think Casamayor will be better than in his disgraceful showing against Santa Cruz but if Katsidis picked up some knowledge from his last fight it should have been some head movement. Still, Casamayor is not the fighter he was and even though he may bring a better game than previously I don't think it will be enough to keep Katsidis from getting the win in an hopefully entertaining bout 'cause it would be great to see another Aussie getting some good recognition. If anyone can do it it will be this guy as well. People are saying he's the next Gatti and while that may be true I hope he can learn to move his head better than Gatti ever did.
Being compared to Arturo Gatti should never be perceived as a compliment to a fighter. I'm in a agreeance with you man. I really hope Katsidis learned a thing or two about defense from his last fight. I'm hoping to see more head movement from him and a jab. He throws to many straight rights and all it takes is for someone to slip that and counter him with their own right or a solid uppercut. Establishing the jab to his arsenal is imperative to him having a long prosperous career which I think most of us on here would like to see.

you are right, but that style that katsidis brings to the table is dangerous for any opponent

So what he's training on X-mas? Almost every non big fighter does. See when your still a nobody to the general public, you tend to keep yourself in amazing condition regardless the day, because you never know when your next fight will be. It's not until you become huge that they tend to slack off on training to attend all the publicity they receive thereafter. But regards to the fight with Casa, I think Mike will put enough pressure on Casa that he will get to him. Casa is old, and I don't think he'll be able to box his way to a decision with Mike all over him.

Katsidis is 1 bad mofo, but i hate it when he throws his right hand like that, its weird,he turns it so much his elbow sticks out to the side too much,he aint gona get the best of his devastating power if he punches from the side like that, against his last opponent,he kept doing it,twisting it too much, everytime he straightened it out he put his opponent on the canvas

Win, lose or draw, Katsidis is always one entertaining guy to watch so I hope he beats the boring mess that is Cassamayor and we get to see him in against the very best at 135, most notably Juan Diaz.
