I havent seen casamayor since he was on ESPN before the final corrales fight, he looked horrible, this is a fight he should win, but i really fear he will get killed as most people think he is past it. Heart says Casaymayor decision, if casamaymor wins this fight he should be p4p, and the bottom line is, he is the man at 135 pounds imo, because unlike diaz he actually got in the ring with Corrales and castillo primes.

Ironically enough, Katsidis doesn't get to fight the damn-near unified lightweight champion, and instead gets the TRUE champion. If he wins, he could technically have more of a claim to the throne then Diaz. That sets up a HUGE fight.

They fight in the same month, too. So, the following fight makes perfect sense.

i dont think cassamayor is as washed up as people think, he's always in great shape and with all his experience will be a great learning fight for katsidis, my only critisizm of michael is that he wants a war every time out, i'd love to see him change up and settle down in his boxing much as barrera did. that fight he had with Amonsot really shortens careers

Perhaps. But even with the shortening of his career, Casamayors could TRUTHFULLY be OVER.
