are you serious? wlad dropped mercer hard in the first round with a left hook and punished him thru out the fight,, wheareas briggs fought him 3 years later and it was a close competitve fight until briggs landed a rabbit punch clearly from behind which should have been ruled a foul. wlad beat him a hell of a lot more convincingly and easily
Yes but what I meant was that Mercer took Wlad's punches very well even though he was old and refused to go down.
But against Briggs he was knocked out and that's the first time I've seen him out cold.
