    Yes, perceptive are you very.

Although, no single art can assure your victory in a fight, the Indonesian art Mr. John practices can only enhance the attributes necessary for boxing.

      Chris John is in danger.

Pac's doing Capoeira now. He'll dance circles while John's still warming up with his Crane and Tiger style kung-fu.

John beat Marquez it was close but he did it he outboxed him. He has sharp counter skills and is fast as hell. He is a gold medalist in indonesian Kung Fu. He would give Pac a run for his money.

The last paragraph (how the author had a swell time in Indonesia, getting to see the local "FHM girls") seems pretty revealing...

I'm just curious: isn't Scott Mallon one of the guys (if not THE GUY) at sportsnut.com.au?

That site recently posted a video of the so-called, "Highlights" of the Marquez-John fight, and cited it as evidence of how quick John is and how such quickness can beat Pacquiao. It's a video from youtube.

To be honest, I cannot see how John won the fight. I confess my bewilderment as to how that video can serve as evidence of how John won or how good John is.

Here's the link to youtube and you or anyone be the judge:

wushu athletes are not looked upon much as fighters. but for all i know, he could have supplemented his performance training with the real ****.
I dont believe in Martial Arts like Kung FU, Wushu, etc.. After I saw an actual fight between a Wushu master against an ordinary street fighter who has no background in Martial Arts.

The Wushu master was beaten to the punch.

In a real fight, Martial Arts is useless... lmao!

Many folk have a false combat perception of the traditional arts.

They do serve a limited purpose in self protection and all provide good health benefits.

Ultimately, it's usually the individual's mental state, skill level, and expereince that determines the outcome.

                    John NEVER NEVER beat Marquez.

Marquez owned him with every punch, almost every round.

If anyone has truly seen the match in its entirety, Marquez was robbed bigtime.... BIGTIME!!!

John may want to utilize all his crane style, tiger style, bamboo style, Wushu, or whatever it is against Pac, but it surely won't help, unless he develops his legs to run thrice as fast.

Even against a slower Marquez, his kung fu knowledge would be nullified. He can't win against Marquez... EVER.

                      Agree.

It's the artist, not the art.
