Jeff Lacy vs Anthony Mundine romours

I have a few boxing friends here in Australia. And there saying a fight between these two looks set to happen soon. As Kessler may go straight for a title shot, and Lacys management apparently don't want a bar of Kessler, which is good management. Another thing i have heard is, Mundine is set to fight Bika in June. And then Lacy in September.

So who do you take. Mundine or Lacy?

Personally i think Mundine will pretty much destroy Lacy. And Lacy will struggle to get a big fight after this. Im not to sure why Lacy doesn't fight Inkin, or other fighters like Froch who he has a better chance of beating.

Mundine. I don't know why they wont fight Kessler but are willing to fight an equally skilled boxer in Mundine.

Sven Ottke knocked this bum out, Lacy wouldn't even have to touch him.

Seriously the way Lacy looked like in his last match against Manfredo (bloated MW who lost to WW Gomez) I wouldn't pick him over ANYBODY in the division.

Yeh i thought that was weird. If Mundine and Kessler were to have a rematch, i would actually put a lot of points on Mundine to get a UD, the first fight was very close, 2 rounds in it, ask 2501. Judges were seriously weird. But hes improved a lot since then. Its a big risk for Jeff, something i think he can't get away with.

He should be fighting Inkin. Or Andrade. he has half a chance against these guys.

I think you watched the wrong fight. It was Mundines 8th pro fight, with no amateur career. Straight from professional footy. He had Ottke knocked down the round before and ran out of gas. The guy is anything but a bum. But on the word he does fight a lot of bums. He is the 3rd best fighter in the division. And improving and is a big threat to Joe C and Kess. Watch the clips above mate. Then get back to me.

Back on Lacy. One more loss, and he will struggle to get big fights. If theres ever a time to fight some lesser opponents, especially since hes coming back from injury, now is the time.

I know he is good I was just joking. Getting knocked out by Ottke is humiliating though, the man has 6 KO's in 34 fights.

bloody oath lol. It was fatigue though man. def. Because Kess couldn't knock him out and he landed some big shots, which Mundine took well and gave some big shots straight back. But Ottke lol, he couldn't KO my sister, Ottke got lucky big time.

lol I bet he regrets taking the Ottke fight so early in his career now. Mundine will ruin whatever spirit Lacy has got left when he pokes his tounge out and laughs at Lacy when he's on the floor.

He will start with all that taunting. Screaming at him and stuff. More embarassing it will be in jeffs backyard. USA.

Do you think mundine improved a lot from the kessler fight till now?
we know that he improved a lot from the first Solomon fight to the second, but im not so sure if he's improved a lot in the last couple of years.
maybe he has reached his boxing limits.
