Which is why he couldn't get the fights...

AND DONT GIVE ME THAT BULL**** THAT LACY SUCKS BECAUSE IF IT WASNT FOR THAT BEATING HE WOULD HAVE STILL BEEN DOMINANT AND PEOPLE WOULD HAVE STILL CALLED HIM THE NEXT TYSON!!! Is joe calzaghe the best p4p boxer even of our time? NO, but to **** on his accomplishments and deny the guy hes glory is ****ed up! Overrated is a word being used too much these days.

And stop mentioning the reid fight, its annoying!!! Its like mentioning to floyd fans the first pbf vs castillo fight, if floyd would have fought castillo another 9 times floyd would have won all nine fights. Calzaghe had an off night and broke his hand in the early rounds, but if he fought reid another 9 times he would won all 9 of them. I mean just look at the way lacy ****ed reid up!
why has he dominated for ten years and defended twenty times? REAL ****ING POOR QUALITY OPPOSITION!

it seems to me that if you think calzaghe is over rated in the slightest then you don't know anything about boxing.

forget the reid incident, just watch the man fight. you can't knock him, maybe he stayed in the uk too long, but america isn't the be all and end all that the americans on here seem to think it is.

              Any different to Hopkins' opposition?

Just because Hopkins was born in America it doesn't mean his resume is any better. They both fought in their own back yards for the best part of their career.

If you asked a random person on the street in the UK who is Bernard Hopkins they wouldn't know. Same with Calzaghe in the states.

Kessler is the best he's fought and Kessler is barely an above average boxer. I'm not saying that Calzaghe is bad, but one of the best p4p? I don't think he belongs in the top 10 even. If he gets into the ring with Hopkins, Pavlik, Taylor, or Wright and beats either one of them, than he belongs, otherwise, he is way too overrated.
not to be offensive but you should study your history concerning his record
a little more. i think the only fighter on your list he wouldn't beat is pavlik.
the rest are just cannon fodder...

I believe Calzaghe beat alot off poor boxers over his career but lets not forget theirs still some really good names on calzaghes list

                  -Kessler
                  -Lacy
                  -Mario Veit
                  -Mitchell
                  -Brewer
-woodhall (ok well past his prime)
                  -Reid
                  -eubank

And people who believe calzaghe should not enter the HALL OFF FAME are fools he is the most dominate supermiddleweight off all times and future super middleweights years from now will be judged by Calzaghes career luv it or hate it

am not talking about who has the best names on their list if it was like tht WINKY would be P4P number1 am talking about now and i rate calzaghe P4P number 3 because i dont see anyone in the supermiddleweight light heavy ,middleweight divs beating him hopkins would have but at 43 i dont think so, taylors got no chance, winkys to small, Pavliks got the power but could he last with calzaghes speed? maybe.

Calzagghe's a very good fighter, but I think he loses to Chad Dawson.
