yeah sure its your opionion but most people chose lacy to beat calzaghe and look what happened there he ripped him apart so that alone shows how good he is.

But picking an exciting up and coming relatively new champion to beat a guy who has sat in his backyard forever and was thought to be past his best..............is a feasible pick. In no way did that have any reflection on Lacy's standings as being a green fighter.

Also.........Manfredo ripped Lacy apart.......lol. So I think it's safe to say Lacy was overrated by Me and the rest of us who did pick him against Calzaghe.

I'm not hating on him.

I making the simple case that he doesn't deserve to be in the top 5 P4P rankings. He's never beat a top 10 P4P fighter for one...........and he's never won a title outside of his weight class which he's sat in his whole career.

I think those are the two most important criteria for being ranked a P4P fighter. Pacquaio knocked out two HOF fighters and moved up in weight seeking titles at higher weight classes as did Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather.

Guys of that caliber who have proven they can beat other P4P best fighters should be rated above someone who sat in his backyard and never beat a top ten P4P fighter his entire career.

There is no doubting the fact that Joe Calzaghe is a great fighter and Champ.

But when people tell me "P4P" I think of guys who met the criteria I named. It's all how you look at it. I mean it's understandable that people can rate someone simply on the "Would he beat that guy at that weight" and yeah.........Calzaghe is a great pick against most people you could line him up with.

It's all how you view the P4P concept.
