I do believe, had this fight happened 5 years earlier, the outcome would've been different. just look at trinidad-hopkins round 12, hopkins was still full of energy in that round. the different between hops then and now is like day and night.
I like how you completely changed the subject from whether or not it's easier to score a KD early or late into one about how you think Calzaghe would've lost if blah blah blah...

It took you 3 weeks to reply, but it was worth it.

and about kd's early compared to later in a fight, a fighter can punch harder early on but his opponent is also more alert and less tired so they can avoid the punches and be smart enough to keep their gloves up. but later on, a fighter's punches aren't as strong but his opponent has a greater chance of a mind lapse due to fatigue and could come in with their hands low for a moment and catch a clean shot.

They will also be less warmed up at the time, hence the phrase "caught cold". The clue is in the name.

Nice way to ignore the content of my post and just address the bit of sarcasm at the bottom

And BTW, I doubt that there are 100 active fighters that have won 48 times, period.

On second thoughts, big up Hopkins all you want but don't go saying Calzaghe beat an out of prime Hopkins and shouldn't of even fought him in the first place.

And yet in your first post in this thread you said that he should fight him.

Before he agrees to fight Hopkins? Oh, he needs to fight him.

Once he fights Hopkins? He shouldn't have fought him in the first place.

                    Sad.

I don't care what anyone says, Kessler hasn't proven his worth. He's overrated.
