the fact of the matter is this, calzaghe has to win by ko or an overwhelming decision to be considered a top p4p fighter like he has been for the last couple of years. it doesn't matter where hops is ranked in the p4p cuz he is exponentially deteriorating month by month. calzaghe is 35, that is the age of muscular peakness. hops has nothing going for him except his boxing iq.
You're right, 36 is every boxer's peak. Who could forget Muhammad Ali's brilliant performance in his first fight against Leon Spinks (in his EIGHTH pro fight) when he was exactly the same age as Calzaghe is now. Or Roy's brilliant performances against Tarver and Johnson where he got KTFO (two fighters that couldn't have touched him in his prime.)

LOL. You mean the fight where he narrowly beat a Welterweight @ 170 after a 3 year lay off?

Remind me how old Hopkins was when he battered Tarver.

I'm guessing you are a calzaghe nut-sucker considering you ignored my post and chose to write what you thought I wrote. where in my post did I say 36 is every boxer's peak? hate clouds the mind.

Absolute classic. I became a Spinks fan after that fight.

              You mean this wasn't you?:

calzaghe is 35, that is the age of muscular peakness.

Well you had his age wrong, but other than that, am I missing something?

yeah, you are missing something, intelligence. 35 is the age of muscular peakness I didn't say boxers peak. cuz your cardio starts to deteriorate at age 21. so what I meant was that calz atleast has that one thing going for him where as hopkins has nothing except his boxing knowledge. in no way did I say a boxers peak is 35. I know it is between 27-29.
