point taken. I still have my faith in Chagaev, but there are absolutely no certainties in this sport and Wlad is a skilled man. I just believe in Chagaev in that fight.

Wlad is going to unify the belts soon, and NO ONE will stop him.

who has Wlad beaten that would be considered a top notch fighter?

Lets see about Sanders' awesome power; he went toe to toe with notable steel-chinned pugilist Hasim Rahman. Corrie can hit, but isn't a power-house. As for Chagaev, I have seen him in the gym and talked to several fighters who have sparred him at one time or another and the consesus is that they have NEVER been hit harder in their lives. Sure Chagaev hasn't laid out his recent opponents, but only one man has KO'd Ruiz (which as we all know was the highlight of his career, thank you Tua) Vladimir Virchis has a chin that had no problems eating Vitali's punches is the amatuers and sparring (due to his lack of defense) and Valuev, really do I need to explain his massive cranium? as for Chagaev's chin, Virchis is quite possibly the hardest punching heavyweight since Ernie Shavers (yes I include Tyson and Lewis in that group of guys who hit weaker than Virchis). even Vitali has stated that Virchis is the guy who hit him the hardest. This is about Virchis is his form is so bad he doesn't land his money punch as often, much like Shavers. Ok, my bad, back on point; Chagaev who is faster than Sanders and Wlad and has great power and wonderful counters, can starch Wlad or keep him off balance and out of rhythm. Chagaev's weakness is infighting, as is Wlad's, so therefore a wash (but thats why I think Povetkin beats Chagaev). Ibragimov will be kept at a distance against Wlad, don't really see him getting in. I have the utmost respect for Jeff and Chill and their ability to gameplan a fight, but I don't think Ibragimov can excute the perfect gameplan against Wlad. Chagaev with his boxing ability, power, chin and speed can beat Wlad.
I respect your opinion and its backed up well,,,but from what Ive seen on television sander's punches look quicker and more powerful than chageav's. now if other boxers have stated otherwise then maybe looks are just deceiving on tv. yea,,,it doesnt bode well for sanders that he lost to rahman but he did drop him and hurt him badly before he gassed ( as usual) and rahman was at his best then and stated that sanders hit him the hardest he'd ever been hit. fwiw,, I agree with you on virchis. that guy has some enormously heavy hands. he literally just touches guys and puts them to sleep. Im very looking forward to hearing how he does with gomez

Peter has never been as good as he was against Wlad in that fight.
Not against Toney, not against McCline and not against J. Williams.
That was by far the best we've seen of Peter.

fair enough my good man, I have no problem with your view. I trully want there to be a great heavyweight in this whole mess. Whether Klitschko does take them all out or someone obscure like Taras *****ko conquers all I really don't care. Just give us a legitimate linear champion damnit. And if you want to drop some points on a little wager, hit me up.

                    What a list!

                    Is it just me?
the entire list is a pile of ****e!
not one REAL fighter in the bunch!
Give me Valuev, a case of pepper spray and a dog shock collar, and I say in 4 months I have real HW champion!
So many holes in all these guys!
Must just be me! But damn! I say Buster Douglas in the Tyson fight beats all these guys with one hand! Never mind Holmes, Ibeabuchi , Mercer, and
(coughs up a little puke) Lennox Lewis.
Sure hoping SOMEBODY will come along to rescue the HW div and maybe boxing itself from obscurity!
Had hoped the freak Valuev was it!
                    No such luck............sigh....

Funny how no one thinks Lennox Lewis' chin was "soft as butter" after being knocked out by McCall and Rahman. Both Wlad and Lennox adjusted the way they fought to compensate for less than granite chins. Everyone is beatable, but I won't bet any money against Wlad anytime soon.
youll find that it was Wlad doing all the wrestling and hugging and turning away exposing the side of his head to the oncoming punches.
