I forgot to answer the 1st question. No, Zoo would not have been a better opponent. Hatton was a great style matchup. Fast on his hands and feet, throws many punches form angles, and so on...

Seriously, boxing from the outside waiting to time that sledgehammer right hand would not have been a great style to do anything to Mayweather.
I entirely miss which part of Zoo's game is supposed to beat PBF.

Outside game? Please, you need some serious speed (Oscar, Zab) to even have Mayweather thinking twice on the outside. Zoo does not have that speed. Timing? It's not like Mayweather lacks that.

Midrange? ahem... once you take away that straight right hand (which is the easiest punch to take away from PBF stance, and also PBF's rolling with the rights would leave Zoo open, unless he chose not to commit to them), it's Mayweather all over again.

Close quarters? see Dec 8 for reference. Hatton outworked Zoo big time from up close, and we all saw what Mayweather can do in the clinches.
Now (after December 8) we KNOW that if Zoo tried to rough PBF on the inside, he would have gotten his share of elbows, and those sick body shots, while not landing much.

      LOL.
All I need to know it Mayweather turned down $8 million not to fight this guy. That speaks volumes when he's willing to take $5 million to fight Judah who you think is a better fighter. Mayweather clearly knew Margarito was a bad man.

Tszyu had the best chance to beat Mayweather out of every fighter who did not have a size advantage. Just look at what Tszyu did to every slick fighter he faced.

lol @ idiot Hatton fans complaining of Floyd fighting dirty

Hatton does it to beat bums and he's the toughest, meanest warrior around

Floyd does it (not nearly as bad as Hatton), whoops your hero, and he is a dirty fighter. Cry me a river, losers.

"Well there was the times before that"

True, and both camps were interested, but neither were that serious in negoatations and Tszyu was injured and then Gatti came along after Tszyu got stripped. Mayweather then proceeded to establish himself as a name and then Tszyu lost.

          The end.

Actually it wasn't that at all. I never said Floyd ducked him. What was Floyd suppose to fight him AFTER he lost to Hatton?
