yeah franks token approach to career building is bull****.

but somehow he seems to pull it off, 35,000 people travelled for manfredo vs calzaghe. that strikes me as ridiculous for a complete, totally predictable mismatch.

i think its a total waste of time people even mentioning amir in the same sentence as fighters as great as pac, diaz and katsidis, because its never going to happen.

If Amir Khan is going to be the next big thing:

don't keep him in the UK-Euro circuit too long ( Calzaghe, Hatton) and promote him outside his country sooner then later.

could we eventually see a split between Khan & Warren cause Khan seems adament that he wants to move fast & secure a world title however When u are under the guidence of Warren the wheels turn very slow

could Amir become disalusioned with Warrens safety 1st approach

I have seen a interview where Khan is saying he wants to be world champion
next year and then Warren comes in and says "will see what happens" like trying to downplay it.

thats what im talking about will Khan get restless waiting for Warren to pull his finger out ,i can see a compromise or a split in the not to distant future

Khan already has an inflated Ego & possibly foolishly believes he is further along in his development than he really he is ,i think he is a tremendous talent but he will get mangled at world level at the minute cause he aint ready yet

big difference between Thaxton,Lawton,Earl compared to Juan Diaz

i'd be very surpised if he broke from warren, the majority of the british public dont question his opponents (just like calzaghe and warren era hatton) because they are only casual boxing events, buts thats where the money is (in the majority) and the fame.

I think kevin mitchell is a much more exciting fighter, who in terms of credibility amongst 'those in the know' will go a lot further than amir, and i also think he'd be much more likely to break from warren if he kept getting crap opposition down the line.

i think Ian Napa could really do something aswell allthough he is getting older he has matured a lot recently

Right now, I'm not sure how anyone could accuse Warren of doing a bad job with Khan's career so far. He's only just 21.
