Purse difference between Boxers and UFC (amazing)

I watched UFC 79 last night and to be honest I can't understand why anyone would want to have paid to see that crap.
The Liddell Silva fight was pretty crap skillwise.
I mean to say these 2 stood up to fight they were pretty ****ing terrible.If they had been fighting any half decent Boxer the same weight they would have been blown out in the first round.
As for Hughes Vs St-Pierre.......I thought those 2 were going to start inserting things in each other at one point.
I once thought UFC might be interesting but the more I see of it the less and less interested I become.Its more like one of those Sports you watch when there is nothing else on.
i.e Boxing.It certainly isn't worth PPV.

Oh yeah and the commentators with the "This is the biggest fight in UFC history etc etc etc ....."
